What's more fun then having a sliding contest in the hallway? Rodriguez entertainment doesn't get much better than this! I don't remember who had the longest slide, but I can tell you who had the sorest butt and hips...the old fogies...mom and dad! We ain't what we used ta' be!

"Flood of Biblical Proportions..."
...So the radio announcer said as we were driving around our town to take a look at all the flooding in our area. A true statement, when you see the pictures! Portions of I5 are closed and 50+ rivers around Washington have flooded. All of the mountain passes into the Seattle area are closed due to Avalanche. It's a crazy time around here! Our school district is in the middle of it all, therefore we are counting day 2 of no school.
The Snoqualmie River has crested and is flowing wherever it can. This is a local RV park and these are the bathrooms! (or were the bathrooms...might need your scuba gear to use them now!)
Hwy 202 from Fall City to Snoqualmie. This is Becky's bus route...maybe she can get there with a canoe today?
Snoqualmie Falls are fast and Furious, so powerful! It was an incredible view. We got in to see it just before they closed the road.
"Livin' our Love Song"
After being in the car for 6 hours with the kids, Tim and I were ready for some time out alone! For Christmas Tim gave me tickets to an acustic guitar country concert with Darryl Worley, Heidi Newfield, and Jason Michael Carroll and we got home just in time to make it! We had a wonderful time!
